Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche Recipe

Ham and Cheese Quiche
This is a really easy and quick quiche recipe.The ingredients you will need for this ham and cheese quiche are:
* 1 1/2 cups of chopped, cooked ham
* 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
* 4 large beaten eggs
* 1 cup of milk
* 1/8 cup of chopped white onion
* 1 - 9 inch pie shell
* 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
* 2 pinches of salt
* 1 dash of black pepper
You begin by heating your oven to 350 degrees on bake.Put your pie shell in a pie pan.I have a little bit deeper, round pie pan I use for this. It doesn't have slanted edges or beveled edges like a small pie pan, the edge is straight up and down and it makes it deeper.
You will take your pie shell and taking small amounts, start adding the cheddar cheese, pieces of ham and pieces of onion.
I do it by adding some ham, then cheese, then onions , and then repeat that over and over so you have your ingredients evenly dispersed throughout the quiche when its done. A little bit of this a little bit of that until its filled with those ingredients.
After that, you will need to get a mixing bowl and add the milk, eggs, flour salt and pepper and mix that well. Once you have that stirred and mixed well, you just pour that on top of the ham and cheese in your pie shell.
I normally put it in the oven and set the pie pan on a cookie sheet and set the oven on a at 350 degrees. It should take about and hour to cook.
If you would like it to look fancy, you can slice a tomato into super thin, round slices from the middle of the tomato, the largest round slices of tomato you could make and 2 or 3 minutes before the quiche is done you can add the slices on the top to decorate it. You could also shake a little crushed red pepper to the top for variety and spice.
This is a very easy recipe and makes for a hearty meal, having a pie shell on hand is the key, because quiche is just a custard really with some kind of meat,cheese and or vegetables.
You can experiment and add anything you like !
I hope you enjoy!
Bon Appetit !
